Breaking The Silos

This Summit examined Gender Based Violence (GBV) services across populations, discussed how to achieve specific the Sustainable Development Goal targets on GBV in Asia and the Pacific, addressed intersections and gaps between types of violence, and highlighted the role of donors in breaking down silos. The summit Addressed gender inequality and human rights violations as root causes of GBV establishing a common framework for examining policies, response systems, and prevention programming germane to a wide set of violence and rights abuses. This Summit aimed to break down silos between different types of GBV programming.
